A model of the middle section of the head

The mid-head section model is an important teaching tool in anatomy and clinical medicine teaching. Through the median or near-median section of the head, it clearly presents the hierarchical relationship of structures such as brain tissue, ventricular system, nasal cavity, oral cavity, pharynx and skull base.

The model visualizes the complex internal anatomy of the head, helping learners accurately understand the spatial positions and adjacent relationships of various tissues and organs within the same cross-section. In teaching and training, it can be used to explain related physiological functions such as breathing, swallowing, pronunciation and nerve conduction, and at the same time assist in understanding the localization principles of common lesions such as tumors, bleeding and obstruction.

This model is conducive to enhancing spatial imagination ability and clinical thinking level, reducing learning difficulty, and improving memory effect. It is of great significance for improving the quality of head anatomy teaching and clinical diagnosis cognition.
